    Hi,

    thanks for this project !

I like to build a RMS-meteor station based on an analog camera.
It seems this would be the first one in Germany 😉
My camera is an WATEC-LCL902-K vith an Eneo F0,8/3,8mm lens.
I made first test and can identify stars up to mag3,0 in the
    live video.
Attached I captured a single frame and marked the visible stars.
(They are more clerly visible in the live stream, related to the noise)

my question is: Is this setup worth to proceed ?

    Hi Alex,
we do have one station in the north of Germany already, so feel free to join the fun!

Regarding using the analog camera for RMS, it is most certainly possible, but I would warmly recommend getting a digital CMOS camera which can get you at least 2 more magnitudes of sensitivity and much better looking images!

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Cheers,
    Denis
