{"id":961,"date":"2024-09-15T21:05:52","date_gmt":"2024-09-15T21:05:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/globalmeteornetwork.org\/outreach\/?p=961"},"modified":"2024-09-15T21:07:21","modified_gmt":"2024-09-15T21:07:21","slug":"four-south-african-cameras-are-now-online","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/globalmeteornetwork.org\/outreach\/2024\/09\/15\/four-south-african-cameras-are-now-online\/","title":{"rendered":"Four South African Cameras are now ONLINE!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-container uagb-block-a5121e61 alignfull uagb-is-root-container\"><div class=\"uagb-container-inner-blocks-wrap\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-advanced-heading uagb-block-60911abc\"><h1 class=\"uagb-heading-text\">Four South African Cameras are now ONLINE!<\/h1><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-advanced-heading uagb-block-da44afd9\"><h2 class=\"uagb-heading-text\">South Africa<\/h2><div class=\"uagb-separator\"><\/div><p class=\"uagb-desc-text\">On 31 August we achieved a major milestone with first light achieved at Laingsburg High School in the Western Cape of South Africa.\u00a0 Cameras ZA0008 and ZA0009 were finally added to the pipeline from 1 September 2024.<br>\u00a0<br>This follows first light at Touwsrivier Primary School (cameras ZA0006 and ZA0007), which achieved its first meteor detections on 4 June 2024, and was added to the pipeline on 7 August 2024.
